Job Description

Functional

  • Ensuring CSR function at NPCI is operating as per the requisite compliance and statutory requirements of NPCI
  • Ensuring complete compliance as per the statutory requirements of the Companies Act, 2013
  • Creating processes and systems for smooth progression of NPCI's CSR programs
  • Strategy and development of future roadmap for NPCI's CSR activities
  • Creating shared value for NPCI, its CSR partners and for the community

 

Operational

  • Ensuring CSR projects are run as per the approved deliverables
  • Ensure fund management as per the predefined and approved fund flow process
  • Impact evaluation of CSR partners vis--vis the approved milestones/KRA/KPI
  • Creating communication for the Board and for internal/external consumption of our CSR partners
  • Ensuring completeness and timely submission of reports (programmatic and financial) from the partners
  • Periodic visits to CSR partner geographies. Will entail travel to difficult and rural geographies

New Programs

  • Identification of new partners in line with the CSR policy of NPCI
  • Creating presentation and other material to secure approval from CSR Committee of the Board
  • Documentation including MoU development
  • Execution and monitoring of the program

Volunteer Management

  • Creating comprehensive volunteer engagement programs with existing partners and/or with new partners exclusively identified for volunteering purposes
  • Create a yearly calendar of events and publish the same
  • Coordinate with critical stakeholders for planning various in-house stall sale events.
  • Ensuring accurate creation of necessary financial documents for fund management
  • Compliance with audit requirements
  • Ensuring quarterly reportage on CSR fund utilization
  • Coordinating and ensuring yearly programmatic/financial audits are carried out.

Documentation

  • Ensuring complete alignment with secretarial standards and requirements for Board documentation
  • Working with CSR partners for development of presentations for the CSR Committee of the Board
  • Development of content for Annual Reports
  • Maintaining documentation as per documentation and audit requirements

 

Communication

  • Creating internal and external communication as per the requirement for various CSR projects

Required Candidate profile

Minimum of Eight years of relevant experience (within the development/CSR space) wherein the incumbent:


  • Has worked in the development sector (not-for-profit or for-profit organizations) executing CSR programs for corporate/governmental institutions/bilateral funding agencies
  • Experience in program management of projects in education and environmental sustainability is an added advantage
  • Has thorough understanding of CSR compliance requirements as under the Companies Act, 2013 including
  • Secretarial requirements for CSR
  • Board documentation and requirements for CSR
  • Understands the core concept of impact in the development sector
  • Has worked in the CSR team of a corporate and has experience in program management
  • Has experience in drafting internal communication including but not restricted to Annual Reports
  • Has good networks within the NGO/development sector for proposal management
