Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities
To help customers manage the risk of accepting payments (predominantly credit and debit card). This will include analyzing bulk transactions data to identify emerging fraud trends, developing strategies to mitigate these trends.
Proactive approach to staying up-to-date with product developments by coordinating with stakeholders and knowledge sharing within the team.
To monitor the transactional activities of the card holders & merchants and identify suspicious behavior & trigger alerts
To mitigate the occurrence of fraud by implementing adequate triggers and controls in the FRM system and by interacting/training acquirers on various alert features etc.
Interact with member banks to work together to identify and prevent frauds
Complete user acceptance testing for new functional risk management tools
Technical Competencies:
Good knowledge of card payment industry and new E-payment products like RuPay, Visa, MasterCard, IMPS, UPI etc.
In-depth knowledge of Merchant Acquiring process, underwriting , POS, ECOM, Payment Gateways & Aggregators, Chargebacks, Fraud to Sales and Negative Merchant Listing
Working knowledge of cards frauds prevention & investigation
Demonstrated experience in working with cross functional groups especially banks
Understanding the functional requirements and accordingly balance the risk & reward factors
Proactive/Creative thinking with an eye for details and the ability to spot anomalies in transactions
Ability to present fraud related information to internal & external entities and respond appropriately to queries
Good written & oral English skills
Graduate level candidate MBA or equivalent preferred with a relevant work experience of at least 3 years
