Profile : AVP - NACH / CTS Operations
Educational Qualification:
Postgraduate in Engineering / Management discipline from a reputed institute.
Experience:
Minimum 12-15 years of commercial banking experience in a Managerial capacity preferably handling Bank’s Payment System e.g. Clearing & Settlement Operations/ Bank Service Branch Operations/ CPC or CCPC Operations/ NEFT-RTGS/ Electronic Clearing Service (ECS).

Key Responsibilities:
1. As a Grid In charge, monitor day to day Grid CTS & NACH operations. Will report to VP & Head CTS and NACH.
2. Review operational process, suggest improvement & implement process re-engineering. And ensure the same are delivered by Infra and/or vendors within specified time.
3. Ensure seamless conduct of periodical DR Drill.
4. Ensuring timely invoice raising & recovery of CTS/NACH processing charges from Member banks, Government departments.
5. Liaison with Regional office of RBI, Member banks & service providers on periodical basis so as to ensure smooth functioning of CTS across Grid.
6. Managing the Business relationship with State & Central Government departments for DBT migration in to NACH system.
7. Ensure that Operation team is fully aware of scope and objectives through full collaboration and interactive process during day to day operations. Arrange training for newly recruits.
8. Motivating team members for career advancement/ enhancement within NPCI. And creating second line in command (within team at each level) in case of exigency.
9. Manage onboarding of banks to CTS/ NACH.
10. Periodical project update (during implementation), identifying resource constraints/ challenges and intimate open issues to the concerned.
11. Ensure Periodical MIS publication/ submission to banks/Regional offices of RBI. Circulate daily internal MIS.
12. Adherence to various legal provisions/acts (NI Act/ IT Act/ PSS Act etc.). Compliance to internal & external (RBI) audit reports.

Essential Knowledge:
• Articulate & Good Communication and Excellent relationship Building skills
• Good understanding of Banking, Payment instruments, Issues and concerns and practices followed in different countries.
• Innovative solution provider, capable of articulating new ideas and changes and getting them implemented in quick time.

Note: The eligibility criteria can be relaxed for the candidates with strong domain knowledge and experience.
